CEREMONY PREPARATION
Your preparation begins the moment you say yes to this sacred work.
Integration starts with preparation, and we hold the safety, beauty, and coherence of your experience with utmost care. Please take time to read our preparation guidelines thoroughly. This is essential for your journey with these master plant teachers.
Key elements of preparation:
Medical Form: Complete our registration and medical form (required)
Dietary Guidelines: 1 week leading up to our ceremony, it’s recommended to lower caffeine intake, eat a clean diet, lower your sugar intake and refrain from alcohol. This will help cleanse your system and create space for the medicine, which works at a more subtle level.
Recreational Drug Use: Please give yourself at least a week free from working with cannabis and other recreational drugs and a minimum of 2-4 weeks from working with MDMA.
Medication & Supplement Review: SSRI’s, MAOI’s, Stimulants (like Aderol or Ritalin) can be contraindications for working with this medicine. Please notify us on your medical form so that we can speak with you udirectlyh. Other supplements that are not recommended and can create cardiovascular strain or run the risk of seratonin syndrome are; 5-HTP, St. John’s Wort, SAMe, Rhodiola, Ginseng, High-dose caffeine
Mindfulness Practices: Begin daily meditation (10-60 minutes), breathwork, and yoga to prepare your body, mind, and spirit
Energetic Clearing: Create space by limiting media, intense conversations, in the days leading up and plan to be offline during ceremony day
Integration Time: Gift yourself at least one day of spaciousness after the retreat to continue reflecting and integrating
The more we prepare beforehand, the more receptive we will be.
Please explore the full preparation guide (linked below) for more detailed information on diet, and journaling prompts to support your journey.
